🔑 Lost Your Keys?
Losing your keys can be stressful, but don’t panic. Acting quickly can help keep you, your belongings and the property secure.
This guide explains exactly what to do if you’ve lost your keys, locked yourself out or believe they have been stolen.
Step 1 – Stay Calm
Before reporting your keys as lost:
- Check all your pockets and bags.
- Retrace your recent steps.
- Contact any places you have recently visited.
- Ask family members or friends if they have your spare keys.
Many lost keys are recovered within a short time.
Step 2 – Determine the Situation
You’ve Misplaced Your Keys
If you believe the keys have simply been misplaced and there is no immediate security risk, contact us during office hours for advice.
You’re Locked Out

- Check whether another authorised occupier has access.
- Contact Yes Properties if you cannot gain entry.

If you believe your keys have been stolen, this should be treated as a security issue.
You should:
